Services, & Workshops
You can have the greatest ebooks and products,
services and/or workshops, but if you don’t get traffic, you
won’t have any potential buyers and you won’t make any money!
Here are 8 of the best and fastest ways to generate
traffic. I
picked these because they are low or no cost and the only thing you
might need is an opt-in page set up. Plus, you can get started FAST
with each.
So let’s go through them and explore each one.
1.
Free
ebooks are a great way to generate traffic. When you write an ebook
and give it away for free, it encourages people to share it with
their friends. This phenomenon is known as viral marketing. With
viral marketing, you can reach many more people with each ebook than
if you sold them. So
write an ebook and give it away to generate traffic virally! (And by
the way, you can make money with free ebooks by including affiliate
links to other relevant products and services inside your ebook!)
2.
Teleseminars
are another great way to generate traffic. Even if you have ZERO
people on your list, you can do a teleseminar and start building one
right away by doing free Q and A calls in your niche! (Be sure to
have an opt-in page so you capture their emails.) You aren’t going
to get tons of people on the calls at first most likely, but keep
doing it and create compelling teleseminar titles and you’ll do
well over time.
3.
Offer to give a bonus to someone in your niche or a related
niche who is launching an ebook or product. The way this works is
that the product/ebook owner offers a series of bonuses with their
product and buyers can pick and choose which ones they want. When
they pick yours, you want them to opt in to get it. That way you get
their name and email and build your list. (I jump started my
business with free ebooks, teleseminars, and a bonus offer so I KNOW
these tactics work!)

Blog
about your ebook. When you blog you can mention where people can get
your ebook (or put it in your resource box). Those people who are
interested in it will click on the link and either opt in for your
excerpt, ecourse, free report or whatever else you might be offering
for free to get them to opt in to see your sales page. They may also
purchase your ebook right away. Either way, it’s getting free
traffic to your ebook and building your list!

Twitter
is a great way to promote your ebook or product because you can
generate 2,000 followers very quickly. Once you get to 2,000 it’s
a little bit trickier, but I started making really good money in my
business with just 1600 people, so this is a great tactic to use to
jumpstart traffic.

Facebook
can be used several ways to create traffic to your ebook or product.
If you’re doing a teleseminar you can create an event and promote
it on Facebook. You can also use it to announce free reports,
teleseminars, contests, and other giveaways which are a great free
way to get traffic to your site by posting about it in “What’s
on your mind?” and you can comment on other people's posts.
This tactic
gets your name out there and if it’s relevant, you can mention
your site or your free “ethical bribes” to get people back to
your site.
7.
Joint
ventures are one of the best and fastest ways to grow your list. The
key is to figure out what your joint-venture partner wants or needs
and how you can provide it for them in exchange for them giving you
access to their list. Don’t try to get to the "big guys” in
your niche if you’re just starting out. Go for lists of 1,000 up
to 5,000 and you’ll get way more people saying “Yes!” than if
you try to go for big experts right off the bat.

Free
videos are a great way to let people know about your ebooks,
products, services and/or workshops, and the good news is they
don’t have to be high quality to get great results. You can get a
