Yes! Chocolate is good for you, but sugar isn’t.   But,  if you just can’t resist some chocolate chip cookies, indulge, it’s only one day a year! However, if you want to keep it even healthier, skip the chips and go for the dark chocolate bar. I found one that is yummy, low in carbs, and worth a little splurge. It’s called Rightgously Raw Chocolate and I get it at Whole Foods. So, if you want to splurge without the guilt, this is what I recommend.

In business news, I’ve been interviewing contributors and helping them create their stories for my upcoming collaboration book,  How to Crush it in Business Without Crushing Your Spirit, How Entrepreneurs can Overcome Depression and Find Success! and it’s pretty amazing-all the different ways people have healed their depression. It just shows how ingenious entrepreneurs are!  I’m working on the affiliate materials now and looking for contributors and sponsors. I also reached out to Hope for Depression to learn more about their programs to see if that will be the charity that the book supports. This book is going to help A LOT of people!

I’ve also been playing around with Pixel Studio FX. I hate learning a new program no matter how easy it is….just being honest here. Then, once  you’ve nailed it, you wonder how come you didn’t think it was as easy as the demo you saw of it! But, it’s not difficult. In personal news, Christen had a health scare yesterday. We ended up in the emergency room of the VA for hours. It turned out he had more kidney stones. (He had some last November.) It turned out that he’s been getting them because he’s been eating a lot of hot dogs. He thought they were okay because they were organic, but I’ve been telling him they aren’t good for you. Of course, he didn’t listen to me, but now he is listening to the doctor. If you don’t want kidney stones, stay away from processed meats and hot dogs.  PERIOD!

Luckily, we had just gotten him set up at the VA with his primary doctor the day before, so it worked out! He’s home now and feeling much better. And, I have to give thanks to my  prayer warriors on Facebook, they are awesome!

As for me, I’ve had pain in my hip for a very long time. I thought I had tried everything, but I found a practitioner who uses something called Scenar. I have my fingers crossed that it helps!

That’s it for now…..

Business Development SOS! 4 Ways Coaching Can Help You Succeed!

Coaching is a powerful way to increase your business and your bottom line. It can be used to grow your overall business, or for a particular project, whether it’s writing a book, marketing it, developing a product line, or figuring out a business model, for example.

When I decided to create a collaboration book, I wanted to make sure I did everything I could to make it as successful as possible, so I decided that I would bring an advisor or coach on board-someone who was better at marketing and more successful than I am.

Now, to be fair, I’m no slouch. I have done telesummits that have brought in between $16,000 and $20,000 for me. But, I’ve had my share of duds too over the years, so I wanted some extra insurance.

So whether you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, or you just want to be ore successful, here are 4 reasons why you should consider hiring a coach.

1. Get knowledge without trial and error. When you hire a coach who has done what you are trying to do, they already know the best solutions to the challenges that arise, so you don’t have to spend a lot of time researching the answers, all you have to do is ask so you spend less time working on your project to get the results you desire.

2. Avoid undo stress and overwhelm. There is always more than one way to do anything online, which can lead to stress and overwhelm when you are trying to decide which way to go.  And I don’t know about you, but when I have to make technical decisions like how to set up my funnel, for instance,  my eyes can glaze over. I can’t think because I get brain freeze.  Having someone to bounce your ideas off of can alleviate a lot of this.

3. Save money. When you have an advisor or coach, you will save money, both by avoiding costly mistakes and by getting access to their expertise and perhaps their marketing research and marketing research can be costly (as well as time consuming); you can use the research done by your advisor or coach. (Of course, this only works, if you work with someone who is targeting the same market that you are going after.)

4. Get access to coveted resources. When you work with someone who has done what you are trying to do, often times, they will share their best resources with you.  These are resources that, most likely, they have developed over a period of years and these resources are usually the best and at the most reasonable prices

For instance, I have gone through several press release writers and VA’s on Fiverr and I have found a couple of excellent ones that I now use on a regular basis. I do not share them with everyone because, to be honest, I don’t want them to get so busy that they don’t have time for me. But, I do use them for my best clients. BTW: the best people on Fiverr usually charge more than $5!) Sometimes, they are not the most affordable, but they will give you a better deal because of your connection to an expert that sends them a lot of business so you get higher quality resources at a discount.)

If you’re feeling stuck and overwhelmed, or you just want more profits from the work you are doing, hire a coach if you want fast results. If you’d like to work with me, I have a few slots open. I only work with a few people at a time one-on-one and you must be serious. So if that’s you, I’d love to talk with you and see if we’re a good fit. Setting up a funnel: report-video-webinar

If you give away a free report (with an opt-in), you can include a short video on the download page
that gives more information, but also leads to a redirect page for a live webinar.

Some people will watch the video and some won’t, but that doesn’t mean
they won’t sign up for the webinar and that is the goal. You want to get
people to the call.
