Carmakers “get” Twitter and are using it to  launch their  product lines with great success according to a story in Friday’s  Los Angeles Time. They understand that it gives them
direct access to an audience that wants to hear about what they are selling and wants to share it with their friends which  makes it a great marketing tool for any company or brand

And this is what makes it such a great tool for authors, coaches, small business owners, and entrepreneurs as well.

Twitter allows you  to connect with your audience, and make them feel part of your team which  breeds loyalty, increases sales and  creates bigger profits over time.

So if you want to sell more ebooks or information products take a page from the autor industry’s playbook and get on Twitter (if you aren’t there already). Start building a relationship with your audience and your efforts will be richly rewarded.

Just be sure to follow the rules. It’s about connection so write your own tweets; don’t pay someone to do it for you. Focus on relationships not selling. And  send  frequent informative tweets to stay connected to your audience.
