Dan Brown’s Book-Marketing Plan Works For eBooks Too!
Best-selling Author Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons) has a new book: The Lost Symbol.
He’s getting the word out through interviews such as the one in Parade Magazine which comes with my Sunday Los Angeles Times Newspaper.
Alongside the interview was an excerpt and in the corner was a box directing people to go to a website where they could download a chapter of the book for free.
You can do the same with an ebook - promote your ebook and offer a chapter of it for free. This will work with blog posts, articles, on podcasts, video, the possibilities are endless!
One great way to give away a chapter or two for free and then close the sale is to use an ebook - formatting program like this one:
snipurl.com/ebookformatting.
I recommend this one because you get lifetime updates and a great team behind you. But regardless of how you choose to do it, the important thing is to let people experience your ebook first.
If the quality is great, your potential customers will appreciate it and you will make more sales!
