Two Ways To Make Money With Your eBook Publishing On Kindle: Deciding What’s Right For You!

Monday, April 29th, 2013

kindleTo sell your ebook, you’ll have to make sure you write a great book. Once you’ve done that, decide on your pricing (short ebooks generally go for under $5 while longer ones can go up to $9.99 if they want to get the 70% royalty-which most do.)

Then, simply upload it to Kindle, fill out the form and click the publish button. It will go into review and go live within 48 hours.

But, there’s another option. You can enter your ebook into KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) where you can offer it for free for up to 5 days in a 90-day period.

During that time, you cannot sell it anywhere other than on Amazon. But, the rewards can be well worth it.

By giving your ebook away for a short amount of time, you may get a lot of people to download it, and tell others about it. Authors have reported as much as a 400% jump in sales after offering their work for free in KDP!

But, many author are afraid to do it because they don’t want to give their hard-earned work away.

If you understand that most authors don’t make a huge amount of money from their ebooks but from building a targeted subscriber list of people who will buy from you over and over again, it becomes easier to see the value of giving your ebooks away for free. (The money is more likely in the back-end with coaching, speaking, and other info-products.)

In addition, while you don’t make direct sales in KDP, you do get a piece of the pot that Amazon collects during the months that you have your ebook or ebooks in KDP.
This money comes from their premium membership and is divided among all the authors participating in the program each month.

And this can add up to be serious money. In fact, some authors have made over $8,000 in a single month in this program! So don’t underestimate the power of “FREE”!

To learn How To Publish Your eBook In Kindle And Add HUNDREDS of Buyers To Your Subscriber List Practically Overnight! join me for a very special training webinar.

The information I will be presenting could take you months or even years to figure out, if at all, and you’re going to get it handed to you so you don’t have to make all the mistakes most authors make with Kindle!

How to make Money with eBooks & Info-Products on Fiverr.com in 7 Easy Steps!

Saturday, April 27th, 2013

FiverrMost people sell services on Fiverr.com. But, that’s not how savvy entrepreneurs use it. The way to make extra income (and it’s pretty passive too) on Fiverr is to sell info-products: tips sheets, special reports, short ebooks and even training videos.

And in many cases, it’s better than Kindle! Think about it….many ebooks in Kindle are selling for LESS than $5! And you can’t have immediate upsells in Kindle either.

With Fiverr, you can, often times, make MORE money from a report than you can selling your ebook in Kindle! And with the “EXTRA Gig” feature you can offer instant upsells which I’ve seen going for as much as $40! (You have to get established first, but it doesn’t take long. I’ve done it and you can too!)

So here’s how:

1. Make sure your audience is on Fiverr.com (See what is selling there now in your niche.)

2. Find out what your target market wants that you can offer

3. Figure out your best keywords and come up with a name for your product that will wow your audience.(If you need help with this, you can watch my free webinar training: “How to Write Killer eBook & Book Titles that Sell Your eBook For You: webinar at: http://tinyurl.com/killertitlescall Or, if you’re in a hurry, you can check out my fiverr special report at: http://tinyurl.com/killertitles-fiverr

4. Create your tips sheet, special report, short ebook, or video.

5. Find or create a bonus to offer inside your ebook, so that you can capture names and email addresses.

6. Fill out the Fiverr entry form.

7. Deliver product (or have someone do it for you)

It’s pretty simple!

I’ve been making money on Fiverr so I KNOW it works!

If you want to discover the secrets to Fiverr at a ridiculously low price (Just $19.95) go to
and grab it now. http://tinyurl.com/fiverrpassiveprofits

It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme-but it is another stream of income with very little work! You’ve got nothing to lose. It’s just $19.95 and there’s a 100% money-back guarantee! So you can’t go wrong. Check it out now at: tinyurl.com/fiverrpassiveprofits before the whole world figures out how awesome this is!

How To Find The Best Keywords and Phrases For Best-Seller eBooks & Book Titles

Saturday, April 20th, 2013

keywordsTo find best-selling titles, you have to start by first doing a Google Keyword Search. Look for keywords and phrases that have at least 50,000 clicks-per-month globally.

(Type in Googlekeywordtool.com, then click on the Adwords hyperlink. If you don’t have an Adwords account, you’ll need to set one up; it’s free.)

Make a list of the top keywords and phrases. Focus on the ones that have low competition first because when you start advertising you’ll want to use the ones with the least competition because it will be less expensive.

Next, cross reference your keywords and phrases in Kindle and Amazon to find out what is actually selling. You want to sell where your buyers will see your ebook/book and be able to buy it. That means finding the right keywords and phrases that are popular where you plan to sell it (Sometimes what is popular in Kindle is not popular in Amazon books and vice versa.)

You can also check the Amazon Best-Seller Ranking to see if the the books or ebooks using the keywords and phrases you are considering using in your title are ranked in the top 100 in Kindle if you’re looking to sell in Kindle, or in Amazon if you are looking to sell there as well as what their ranking is in Amazon’s overall rankings (those are the rankings for all of Amazon).

Once you’ve got your best keywords and phrases you can start constructing your best-seller title!

Four Strategies For Super Success For Authors & Online Entrepreneurs

Thursday, April 18th, 2013

successexit

Superstar Entrepreneurs do at least one of these 4 things to catapult them into the limelight, giving them not only credibility and expert status, but more media attention, word of mouth, bragging rights, a large subscriber list and mega profits!

Study these options to figure out how YOU can become a Superstar Entrepreneur!

1. Be first in your niche. When you are first, you become THE leader in your field, as long as you get the word out before someone else does. If you wait, you’ll be seen as #2 or worse, and lose your advantage.

Case Study: When I started, there were no ebook coaches. I was writing an ebook from an ebook on, you guessed it, how to write ebooks! But, it wasn’t going well, so I started looking around for an ebook coach and there weren’t any. So, I created my own program and I became the very first ebook coach.
And no matter how many other people become ebook coaches, writing coaches, or book coaches, I will ALWAYS be the first, the original, The eBook Coach! (And creating my own program enhanced my position, as you’ll see in #2 below.)

2. Create a new process. When you create a new process, again, it makes you FIRST! So even if you’re not necessarily the first one in a niche, if you’re the first one to use a new process in your niche that works and captures the attention of your target market, it still gives you bragging rights and makes you an industry leader which leads to super success!

When Rich Schefren released his Internet Manifesto, he revolutionized how people looked at business on the Internet. And he made millions on his very first product launch, becoming THE leader on how to run a successful online business.

3. New delivery system. The Kindle reader changed the way books could be delivered and in doing so became the leader in selling books and ebooks as well as ereaders!

They also made it easy and free to publish with support for authors like giving them their own “Author’s Central” marketing page, a book review system to help great books make sales and other marketing and selling tools like the ability to write a sales description, display your ecover, and show potential buyers what’s inside your ebook.

They also gave incentives for potential buyers like free shipping, suggestions for other related ebooks and products, book reviews, and ranking to help them make buying decisions. The totality of their delivery system made them THE leader in book and ebook sales garnering 60-70% of the market!

4. New angle. This refers to how you approach your subject. Whether you’re writing an ebook, or creating a program, if you can take an approach that no one has taken before, it makes you the leader and can catapult you to super success as well as best-seller status. It also allows you to compete in a niche that you may have thought was saturated. (Remember, with a new angle, there’s no such thing as a saturated market! The world is your oyster!)

Example: 3 Diet Books In the Top 10, April 2013

Ranking: #2. The Fast Diet: Lose Weight, Stay Healthy, and Live Longer with the Simple Secret of Intermittent Fasting

Ranking: #3. The Overnight Diet: The Proven Plan for Fast, Permanent Weight Loss

Ranking: #7. It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great.

So, come up with a new angle, and you can become a Superstar Entrepreneur and/or author!

If you want to become a Superstar Entrepreneur, think outside the box, stay up on new trends, and when you find something that you can do better or easier than what’s already out there, package and sell it! You won’t find super success by following someone else’s path. Innovation is the key. Make it happen by tapping into one or more of these 4 strategies. And ride the wave to super success!

6figuresThere are so many ways that people can create a business online and marketing it that it can be overwhelming. But, the good news is that every business model is not a good fit for every author or coach (independent professional, consultant, or entrepreneur either).

What you need to consider when looking for a business model is:

1. Will it help you achieve what you want to achieve?

2. Is it doable for YOU? (Everyone has different aptitudes and skills and it makes a difference which business model you should pursue and how you should pursue it-in other words, which pieces you should do yourself and which should be delegated)

3. And finally, is it going to be easy to follow?

Help! My Niche is Saturated, What Should I Do? (How to Pick a Niche For Your Book or Online Business)

Saturday, April 13th, 2013

nicheLook at the different niches you could enter based on your passions and your skills. Then, try to figure out a new angle for each one that hasn’t already been explored. Too many times, I hear people say that their niche is over-saturated. But, in truth, there is no such thing as a saturated niche, if you come up with a new angle, hook, or approach.

That’s why so many weight-loss books become best-sellers; we, in the United States, are a country of overweight people, for the most part, and people want to lose weight. But, not every diet works for every person. So, people keep searching for the diet will work for them; and there are a LOT of people who are willing to spend good money on diet book after diet book looking for that magic bullet.

Best-seller books in this niche include:

Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution

The South Beach Diet, The Delicious Doctor-Designed, Fool-proof Plan for Fast and Healthy Weight-loss

The Acid-Alkaline Diet for Optimum Health, Restore your Health by Creating PH Balance in your Body

Enter The Zone, A Dietary Roadmap

Skinny Bitch, A No-nonsense, Tough Love Guide for Savvy Girls Who Want to Stop Eating Crap and Start Looking Fabul

Eat to Live, The Amazing Nutrient-rich Program for Fast and Sustained Weight-loss

Do a Google keyword search, and find keywords and phrases that get 50,000 clicks a month globally or more. Then, check in Kindle and Amazon to see what is actually selling.

Finally, assess; based on your passion and skills, the keywords and phrases getting the most interest in Google, and what’s selling in Kindle or Amazon, what could you write about that you know how to approach from an angle that hasn’t been explored yet?

Once you figure that out, you’ll know which will be the most lucrative for you and you’ll be ready to start writing!

How To Get Joint Venture Partners who will put Money in your Pockets FAST!

Monday, April 8th, 2013

jv2!. Live Networking is my #1 choice. When I was first starting out, I went to a lot of live events. I found that local networking didn’t work that well for my business, but targeted conferences did. I volunteered to work the table for a well-known expert and that got me access to all the other experts who were presenting. And I made some great contacts-people I still work with to this day.

At a couple of other live events, I met several more experts, and at that point, I was getting ready to do my first Virtual eBook Expo, so I asked several of them to be guest speakers and they all said “YES!” They included Lorrie Morgan Ferrero, Alexandra Brown, Jim Edwards, Armand Morin, Jeanette Cates, Paul Colligan, Jody Colvard, Stephanie Frank and Kim Castle. What a stellar line up! And I was a newbie! And I made several thousand dollars on that event! FYI I have 4 discounted packages left on CD. So, if you want one grab it NOW!

Fast forward: May 2013. I have a big telesummit coming up and the way I got it was through LIVE networking. And, I not only got the telesummit gig, but the organizer just connected me to another JV partner who I’m doing TWO calls with for my next 3 Days to eBook Cash Workshop! Live networking ROCKS!

2. Social Media. If you use social media the right way, by not just tooting your own horn, but by promoting other experts, responding to their tweets and posts, retweeting them etc. you’ll make solid connections and build relationships that will turn into joint ventures (and you want to focus on those who have the right target market). Also, for those who don’t have the right target market, you can still become a resource, when other experts ask them to refer an expert in your niche.

3. Put yourself out there. The more people see your name and get to know your brand (assuming it’s top notch) the more you will be seen as the expert and people will want to work with you. And again, for those who don’t have the right target market, you can still become a resource, when other experts ask them to refer an expert in your niche.

4. Referrals. By doing 1, 2 & 3, you’ll get #4 which is referrals from other experts, your clients, and vendors. I have two telesummits coming up later this month that were referrals, one from a client and one from a vendor. It’s from doing good work, and being a good partner that these opportunities arise.

So, get out there and network! Create a social-media plan! Get noticed! Then, do great work! Give 110% to the people around you! And you’ll have more work than you know what to do with! (Which is a good thing because that is how you start to build a 6- or 7-figure business!) Woo-hoo!
