Are You Looking For Quick & Easy Ways To Sell Your eBook? Try These Tactics NOW!
Saturday, May 29th, 2010As “The eBook Coach”, I work with people who want to sell ebooks, and interview people who are selling a lot of ebooks on a regular basis. And from my personal and business experience, I’ve compiled a list of 52 ways to sell ebooks. I also picked up a couple of tactics from Internet Marketing Guru Matt Bacak. So here are two you may not have thought of.
1. Advertise your ebook in your Twitter profile. Twitter is a great place to advertise your ebook because you can get in front of a lot of people and it doesn’t cost you anything. The way Twitter works is that you can start looking for “friends” and Twitter allows you to have 10% more people that you follow than are following you-which means you can initiate the process to get started quickly and build a list very quickly- and it’s really easy to get the first 2,000 friends.
And as you add these “friends” and they see your profile and they tell other people, you get more and more followers. And the more followers you get the more people will see your ad for you ebook. One way to make sure you are getting targeted followers (people who are actually interested in what you offer) is to go to www.search.twitter.com and look for people whom you think would be interested in what you do and connect with them.
Then what you can do is advertise your ebook, say for two weeks and see how many sales you get from it. Then try putting something free that leads to your ebook and see if that does better or worse. You might decide to go with the one that gets you the most sales or you might decide to go with the one that gets you more leads. (It could turn out that you get both more sales and leads from one tactic over the other-but you always want to test to see which does better, don’t guess.)
Another tactic that I use all the time is advertising on Instant Teleseminar (My link to Instant Teleseminar if you want to use it is www.instantteleseminarsnow.com) . When you set up a teleseminar there, you can add 3 links to products plus your main “call to action”. If you are speaking on a topic that is related to your ebook, be sure to list it there.
When you’re giving a teleseminar, your listeners have already told you they are interested in what you are talking about by signing up for you teleseminar-so it’s likely that they will be interested in purchasing your ebook as well. Be sure to remind them on the call that your ebook can be found on the Instant Teleseminar page. That way they will be more likely to make a purchase and you will probably pick up some sales you would not otherwise have made.
