Use Web Graphics To Create Trust And Increase Sales!

The look and feel of you entire sales process from opt-in page, to sales page to shopping cart should all be consistent. So you want to use the same colors and images all the way through the process including on your order form in your shopping cart.

You can also use graphics with your social media sites.
With Facebook and Twitter you get a plain-jane page with clouds in the background. But by adding a simple graphic you can customize your pages and add pizzazz! Personalization is so important.

When you customize your Twitter page, you can list your sites so people can learn more about you-you can’t do that on a stock page.

You also want to use your picture-pictures are very powerful. A great example was Dave Thomas of Wendy’s hamburgers-when he put his picture upfront and center business skyrocketed.

Another way to use photographs on your social media sites is in Profile Pics-there’s an image on the upper right hand corner-social media sites all have them. So take advantage of them, it builds relationships to have your picture on your page. When people see you, they start to know, like and trust you which increases sales.

You can use them on:
-Twitter
-Facebook
-Linked in
AND
-Messenger clients (windows live, google talk, yahoo)

You can also use your picture in Print media on:
-Newsletters
-Postcards
-Flyers
AND
-Business cards- putting your photo on your business card is especially important when you go to a lot of conferences (and that’s always a good thing to do as showing up is 90% of success!).

At the end of a conference, you may have a hundred business cards and people might not remember you. By putting your picture on your business card, people will be able to associate your name with your face and be more apt to follow up with you-which leads to more business and increased sales.

So always be sure to include graphics in your marketing. You’ll build more trust with your potential buyers, and it will exponentially increase your sales. Try it, you’ll like it!

7 Ways To Help Maintain Your Health While Working Online!

1. Stay hydrated. Your brain works a lot better when it is hydrated because water is used to transport oxygen to your brain cells (as well as all the other cells in your body) and you need oxygen to think straight! Plus without enough water you could experience chronic joint pain, lower back pain, constipation, and headaches which also impairs your thinking capabilities. So remember to drink water throughout the day!

2. Take breaks. It’s easy to forget, especially when you are under a deadline or feeling pressured to produce but it’s extremely important to do so you don’t get burned out. How long you should break depends on your own biorhythems. Plus, different people have different attention spans, so figure out what is optimum for you. Some people may be able to focus for a half hour at a time, while other’s can go for 90 minutes and maintain t heir concentration. Experiment to find out what is most comfortable for you. Breaks also give your eyes a rest from the computer screen so they don’t get overly tired.

3. Reduce Exposure To Electro-Magnetic Fields From Your Computer. High exposure to these fields can cause immeasurable health problems including: promoting the growth of cancer cells, miscarriage, altering neurological function, and a lot more. To counter these effects, use a screen on your computer. Sit at least an arm’s length away from your screen which reduces exposure to magnetic fields which diminishes rapidly the farther away you sit from your computer. Turn your monitor off when you’re not using it to further reduce exposure. And consider using a liquid-crystal display (LCD) screen since it does not emit radiation at all.

4. Sit up straight. It’s easy to forget about your posture when you work at a computer for eight hours or more a day-especially if you aren’t taking those much needed breaks! And over time, bad posture can really take its toll, causing back pain, neck pain and headaches.

5. Stretch Throughout The Day. Stretching during your breaks will reduce the risk of developing muscle tension and stiffness in the neck, arms, wrists, hands, and back as well as reduce muscle strain. And if you don’t pay attention to your body on a daily basis, the pain will increase over time and could cause a lot of pain and discomfort in the long run.

6. Eat Well And Regularly. It’s easy when you’re on the computer to lose track of time. But it’s important to maintain a regular eating schedule. And if you suffer from Hypoglycemia or Diabetes it’s even MORE important. Also be sure not to skip meals or resort to eating a lot of fast foods filled with empty calories, sugar and fat. Not only are these foods bad for you but too many simple carbohydrates will make you sluggish and tired and stop you from doing your best work!

7. Do something fun every day! When you’re building a business, it can be a lot of fun. But once it’s up and running it can become a J-O-B. So make sure that you do something you really enjoy every day. It will energize and renew you so you can give 100% to your business on an ongoing basis!

Garage Sales Or Internet Marketing: The Same Rules Apply!

We just moved out of our apartment in Redondo Beach, California. And we wanted to sell a lot of our furniture for a few reasons. 1. Some of it was, I’m embarrassed to say, was over 30 years old! (Our Italian leather couch was only a couple of years old so it wasn’t ALL old! But you get the picture!) 2. We didn’t have a new place yet and didn’t want to store it. 3. I was ready to buy new stuff and go for a different look.

So we did what most people do, we put it on Craigslist and in the the Los Angeles Times. And then we waited for the phone to ring, and waited and waited.
And nobody came.

So we kept putting it in, week after week, dropping the price and waiting some more.

We finally sold the living room lamp, and my two bedroom night stands and that was it!

My husband was having fits.

But I just continued to have trust and faith and do the leg work.

It was the night before we were supposed to move and we got two calls.
Somebody wanted the bedroom dresser, and somebody was interested in the living room furniture. The woman who wanted the dresser came with her boyfriend and picked it up.

The other woman called, made a good offer, after only seeing pictures, and said she’d come in the morning at 8 a.m. the day of the move and pick up the sofa.

We didn’t believe her. But lo and behold, she showed up and bought everything we were selling except the bookcase!

We were ecstatic! But the bottom line is we took action, we listened to the market, and we didn’t give up. And, that’s what it takes no matter what you are selling!
